It was designed for the Polish fairy-tale about the myths and legends of Poland’s capital city. The film was directed by Tadeusz Makarczyński and starred Hanna Zembrzuska (Siren) Hanna Skarzanka, Barbara Polomska and Igor Smialowski. This is a really iconic poster, and magical-feeling, from the early years of the Polish School of Posters.
