We can’t stress enough what an absolute joy the artist Maciej Hubner (Hibner) is. He’s also a prolific artist, still working in his nineties, and an absolute genius. This beautiful poster (Co Za Radosc Zyc) was designed by Maciej Hubner back in 1963 for the wonderfully titled French film ‘Quelle joie de vivre’ (The Joy of Living) directed by Rene Clement and starring Alain Delon.

Polish posters were printed in strictly limited runs to be displayed in town centres, theatres and cinemas - so any which survive have been lovingly rescued along the way.
